Abstract

Gender stereotypes are socially constructed beliefs about the roles, behaviors, and characteristics considered appropriate for men and women. These stereotypes lead to gender inequality and stigmatization by limiting individual opportunities, influencing social expectations, and reinforcing discriminatory attitudes. Understanding the origins and consequences of gender stereotypes is important for promoting gender equality, social integration, and equal opportunities for all individuals. This article examines the main features of the problems that arise based on gender differences in education, including the diversity of sexual orientations, gender identities, and life experiences of its members. Particular attention is paid to the issues of social support, psychological well-being, stigma, discrimination, and the need to create an inclusive environment. Analysis of scientific and international materials allows us to see gender as an internal diverse social phenomenon based on the recognition of individual differences, human dignity and equal opportunities.
