USING DIGITAL TWINS TO OPTIMIZE ENTERPRISE BUSINESS PROCESSES
Abstract
The integration of digital twin technology is restructuring the paradigm of operational management. Static methods of process modeling are objectively giving way to dynamic predictive systems. In the article, the author examines the impact of virtualization of physical and organizational assets on the economic efficiency of business within the framework of the transition to Industry 4.0 standards. Relying on empirical experience in implementing streaming telemetry, the author demonstrates how such tools help reduce operating costs and accelerate development cycles. The main limiting factors for implementation include the high cost of initial IT infrastructure and the fragmentation of corporate databases. To mitigate infrastructural risks, the article formulates a list of recommendations. Successful process optimization requires not the standard purchase of heavy software, but a thorough reengineering of the enterprise's corporate culture.
