High-Resolution Noncoherent SAR Imaging With LRMC-Guided ROI-ADMM and Distributed Spiral Receivers
Abstract
This letter proposes a sparse high-resolution noncoherent synthetic aperture radar (NC-SAR) imaging framework based on a two-stage low-rank matrix completion (LRMC)-guided region-of-interest (ROI) alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMMs) reconstruction strategy. In Stage 1, LRMC is applied to sparse NC-SAR aperture data to form a coarse image and identify a target-supported ROI. In Stage 2, sparse ADMM reconstruction is performed only within this ROI, reducing the cost of full-scene sparse inversion while improving target reconstruction quality. Furthermore, deterministic spiral sampling better preserves target-region information than random sparse sampling, while distributed spiral receivers enhance spatial diversity. Simulation results demonstrate improved image fidelity, target localization, and computational efficiency for practical sparse-aperture high-resolution NC-SAR imaging.
