Abstract
Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials have emerged as a promising class of emitters for organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs), offering the potential to achieve near‐unity internal quantum efficiency without requiring expensive heavy‐metal complexes. This research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel TADF emitters based on a dibenzo[

]phenazine acceptor. The synthesized compounds, namely, MeODPA‐DBPZ and PXZ‐DBPZ, exhibit excellent thermal stability and small singlet‐triplet energy gaps, enabling efficient reverse intersystem crossing. OLED devices based on the two emitters achieve remarkable external quantum efficiencies (EQEs) of 19.5% and 22.7% for MeODPA‐DBPZ and PXZ‐DBPZ, respectively, with emission peaks at 588 and 616 nm. The EQE values remain at 17.2% and 19.0%, respectively, at a luminance of 1000 cd/m

New donor–acceptor–donor type emitters, N,N,N',N'‐tetrafluoren‐2‐yl‐4,4'‐diaminobenzophenone (FABP) and its ethyl‐containing counterpart (EFABP) are reported as thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitters. The study of photophysical properties of both the compounds reveal the coexistence of multiple emi...

Multiple‐resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR‐TADF) materials offer advantages for organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) but face notable aggregation‐caused quenching (ACQ) at high doping concentrations, subsequently causing spectral broadening and efficiency declining. In this study, two emitters,...
Multi‐resonance (MR) thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) materials exhibit narrowband emission and high efficiency, making them attractive for application in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). However, compared with conventional donor‐acceptor (D‐A) type TADF emitters, MR‐TADF molecules typically su...

In phosphorescence/TADF‐sensitized fluorescence (PSF/TSF) OLEDs, the use of multi‐resonance (MR) emitters as terminal emitters enables the simultaneous achievement of high color purity and high device efficiency. However, achieving both properties simultaneously remains a significant challenge. Herein, we developed a s...
Abstract Ultraviolet organic light‐emitting diodes (UV‐OLEDs) have attracted increasing attention in the applications of phototherapy, high‐density information storage, sterilization, photocuring and so on, yet the development of efficient short‐wavelength emitters remains challenging due to the irreconcilable contradi...
An in‐depth understanding of locally excited (LE) intermediate states is crucial in regulating the reverse intersystem crossing (RISC) process and overall efficiency of thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters, directing rational material synthesis. Herein, we investigated the effect of incorporatin...
