Current state assessment of the investment in land resources in the agricultural sector of Ukraine
Abstract
Motives: The agricultural sector of Ukraine faces severe challenges caused by the war and economic instability, which have significantly reduced its investment attractiveness. Infrastructure destruction, uncertainty, and land degradation have weakened the sector’s capacity for recovery and sustainable development.Aim: The article aims to assess the current state of investment in agricultural land resources, identify key risk factors, and develop an adaptive risk assessment model to support post-war recovery. Results: A comprehensive investment risk assessment model integrating war-related impacts, land condition indicators, contamination levels, and recovery potential is proposed. A scenario-based analysis was conducted, and adaptive strategies for mitigating risks were suggested. The findings emphasize the crucial role of effective public policy in strengthening investor confidence, ensuring food security, and supporting sustainable economic recovery.
