Sep 2026 · European Journal of Business, Economics & Management · 0 citations

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence technology has not only brought numerous conveniences to corporate governance but also exposed enterprises to various new challenges in compliance management. These include heavier obligations to ensure data security, the need for fairness and transparency in algorithms, increasingly complex intellectual property disputes, and legal differences encountered in cross-border operations. In the Artificial Intelligence era, strengthening compliance management is beneficial for enterprises not only in reducing the risk of non-compliance and lowering management costs but also in promoting the steady and sustainable development of both enterprises and the application of Artificial Intelligence technology. Enterprises in the Artificial Intelligence era can adopt innovative measures such as introducing "legal + business" related intelligent agents, building intelligent legal risk early warning systems, and creating intelligent legal knowledge training systems. These efforts can continuously enhance employees' legal literacy and gradually improve their ability to handle legal-related business, thereby enabling corporate compliance management to reach new heights.
