Modern Concepts of Skin Adenocarcinoma: From Epidemiological Features to Classification Principles
Abstract
Adenocarcinoma of the skin is a rare disease in oncodermatology. Currently, there are no uniform methodological approaches to diagnostic and treatment algorithms for this pathology. The purpose of our work was to identify current trends in improving the results of diagnosis and treatment of skin adenocarcinoma. The work is based on the search and analysis of information sources in PubMed and Google Scholar. The research horizon of the literature data was 10 years. The analysis allows us to state that organ–preserving techniques are expected to be approved as a standard for localized forms, and in the treatment of disseminated processes, improved treatment results are associated with the development of combinations of new-generation immune checkpoint inhibitors with molecular-targeted drugs, which opens up the prospect for long-term disease control
