IMPACT OF INDUSTRIAL EMISSIONS OF THE MINUDOBRENIYA ENTERPRISE (ROSSOSH) ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SITUATION
Abstract
In recent decades, environmental problems have become global. The state of atmospheric air plays a key role here. The unfavorable ecological and sanitary-hygienic situation in the Rossoshansky district of the Voronezh Region creates real risks for the health of the local population. The aim of this study is to assess the impact of JSC "Minudobreniya" (Rossosh) on the air basin quality, as well as to analyze the relationship between anthropogenic air pollution, the chemical composition of drinking water and the morbidity rate of residents of this territory. Materials and methods: data from socio-hygienic monitoring (air and water composition, morbidity indicators) were used. Results and discussion: in the impact zone of the enterprise, the content of chemical impurities in the atmosphere does not exceed hygienic standards. A statistically significant effect of pollutants on morbidity has been recorded – close correlations have been identified. Conclusions: to minimize risks, it is necessary to continue targeted managerial and preventive measures.
