RISK-ORIENTED STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT MECHANISMS OF OIL AND GAS COMPANIES IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL ECOSYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article examines the improvement of risk-oriented strategic management mechanisms of oil and gas companies against the backdrop of the rapid development of digital ecosystems. The transition from traditional vertical integration to a digital platform model has fundamentally altered the nature of risks in the energy sector. The study evaluates the role of Big Data, intelligent analytics, and agile management methodologies in minimizing risks. To form a modern management system, a synthesis of strategic planning and forecasting of digital risks is proposed. Consequently, a flexible and decentralized risk management model that ensures the sustainable development of industrial enterprises is substantiated. The digital transformation environment creates new technological threats in the oil and gas industry, such as cybersecurity issues and data dependency. For this reason, traditional reactive management methods lose their effectiveness, making proactive approaches a necessity. In the course of the research, the application of scenario analysis and predictive analytics tools comes to the forefront. The proposed innovative mechanism increases the speed of decision-making by companies, ensures the flexibility of internal structures, and strengthens corporate resilience. This approach enhances the energy sector's stability against global macroeconomic shocks and market volatility, fundamentally securing the competitiveness of the national industry in the digital era.
