Abstract
Studies on halide perovskites for electrocatalysis remain in their infancy, largely limited to preliminary attempts at inducing oxygen atoms and improving stability. A key challenge lies in the lack of effective strategies for controlled oxygen atom introduction. Herein, we design a facile method to generate oxygen atoms in Pd single‐atom‐loaded Cs

@Pd modulates the electronic structure, as evidenced by a lowered overpotential for key intermediate species. This modulation further increases electron density, promoting the adsorption and activation of OER intermediates, as well as enabling the population of a new excited state. Femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy further evidences that O atoms reduce the recombination of electron–hole, thereby significantly facilitating charge‐transfer to active sites that promote electrocatalytic reactions. This study introduces a novel strategy for the rational design and synthesis of high‐performance photo‐assisted electrocatalytic materials, offering a pathway to enhanced catalytic efficiency and functionality.
The catalytic performance of single‐atom catalysts (SACs) is critically shaped by their local chemical environment, yet the role of structural features beyond the first coordination shell remains poorly understood. Here, we employ Ir single‐atom‐loaded ZnCo

ABSTRACT In this work, we constructed an ultrathin two‐dimensional (2D) In2O3 nanosheet (In2O3‐Ns) structure based on oxygen vacancies (OV)‐rich defects and low crystallinity to anchor Cu single atoms (Cu SAs) and synthesized Cu/In2O3‐Ns photocatalysts. Benefiting from the synergistic strategy of Cu single atoms and In...

ABSTRACT The intrinsic activity–selectivity trade‐off in photocatalytic 2e− oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) for H2O2 photosynthesis originates from the kinetic dilemma between weak O2 adsorption at single‐atom sites and unfavorable O–O cleavage at multimetal sites. Herein, we demonstrate that indium (In) clusters with...

Sustainable H2O2 synthesis via the electrochemical two-electron oxygen reduction (2e– ORR) holds great promise, yet designing efficient and selective non-precious metal catalysts poses a significant challenge. Herein, controllable oxygen vacancies are engineered into LaNiO3 through a scalable defect-induced strategy,...
