Abstract
This article analyzes the representation of the concept of beauty through the names of precious stones and metals in Karakalpak folk epics. It examines the semantic, linguopoetic, and linguocultural features of such lexemes as oltin, tilla, and gavhar, as well as their functions in constructing aesthetic meaning through metaphorical, metonymic, and cumulative models.
