Elaboração e implementação do Projeto Político-Pedagógico em escolas estaduais de Patos de Minas: desafios e perspectivas
Abstract
According to SEE Resolution No. 4,692/21, the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) is a formal and institutional document that articulates the processes taking place within the school. It consists of a set of organizational and operational guidelines that express and guide the school’s programs, projects, and pedagogical and administrative practices, in accordance with the regulations of the educational system. The PPP is an important document that should be developed by all members of the school community, as it is grounded in the principle of democratic management. This study sought to determine whether teachers and school administrators from the five largest state schools in Patos de Minas, based on the number of enrolled students, participate in the development and implementation of their schools’ Political-Pedagogical Project. The methodology comprised bibliographic research and field research, with a questionnaire consisting of objective and open-ended questions administered to 20 participants, including five school administrators and 15 Portuguese Language and Mathematics teachers who worked at the secondary education level. The research was conducted in the five largest state schools in Patos de Minas, selected based on their number of enrolled students. Based on the results and discussions, it was found that the vast majority of administrators and teachers participated in the development and implementation of the schools’ Political-Pedagogical Project; however, 20% did not participate in its development, and 15% did not participate in its implementation. Nevertheless, this percentage of teachers and administrators who do not participate in the development and implementation of the PPP warrants reflection, since this document should involve the participation of the entire school community.
