THE IMPACT OF THE TAX BURDEN ON THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF RUSSIAN ORGANIZATIONS
Abstract
The article examines the relationship between tax burden and financial stability of Russian organizations under changing tax policy parameters, rising costs and higher borrowing costs. The study argues that the effect of tax burden is not linear and depends on profitability, capital structure, liquidity and the organization’s ability to generate cash flow. A comprehensive approach to assessing the impact of tax burden is proposed, combining tax burden indicators with autonomy, financial leverage, liquidity and profitability ratios. Official statistics are used to demonstrate the need for industry- and size-specific assessment. The paper formulates directions for tax burden management aimed at preserving financial stability while fully complying with tax legislation.
