Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the preservation of the author's individual style in the translation of N.A. Nekrasov's works. This research paper attempts to elucidate the extent to which the unique creative style of this Russian poet – a prominent representative of the 19th-century revolutionary-democratic generation – is maintained in Azerbaijani translations. Based on the analysis of various translation materials of N. Nekrasov's numerous works, the article highlights the necessity for Azerbaijani translators to account for the original author's worldview and the characteristic features of the era in which it was formed. In this regard, particular emphasis is placed on the unity of national-specific and unique authorial characteristics in translation. Utilizing practical examples, the research also focuses on the translation solutions regarding the ideational, content-related, and euphonic aspects of the author's works across various genres.
