Inteligencia artificial en la investigación académica de los estudiantes de Comunicación de una universidad pública de Ica-2026
Abstract
Context: The integration of artificial intelligence into higher education has prompted interest in its relationship with academic research. Objective: To determine the relationship between artificial intelligence and academic research among Communication Sciences students at a public university in Ica in 2026. Methods: A quantitative correlational study used a nonexperimental, cross-sectional design. The sample comprised 153 students selected through simple random sampling. Results: A positive association was identified between the self-reported scores for both variables (ρs = 0.640; p < 0.001), pending verification against the dataset and the valid sample size. Descriptive percentages still require reconciliation with the sample of 153 students. Conclusions: The reported results indicate a positive, statistically significant relationship between artificial intelligence and academic research, subject to the pending verification of the data.
