The Influence of Work Attitude, Skills, and Work Efficiency on Employee Productivity in the Public Sector
Abstract
Employee productivity is a crucial factor in supporting the effectiveness and achievement of public sector organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Attitude, Skills, and Work Efficiency on Employee Productivity at the General Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Primary data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire administered to 110 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25, preceded by validity, reliability, and regression assumption testing. The results showed that Work Attitude had a positive and significant effect on Employee Productivity. Skills also had a positive and significant effect on Employee Productivity, as did Work Efficiency. Overall, these three variables were able to explain 54.3% of the variation in Employee Productivity, while the remainder was explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings indicate that employee productivity is not only related to the ability to carry out work, but also to attitudes toward work and the ability to utilize resources efficiently. This study expands the empirical evidence regarding factors related to Employee Productivity in the context of public sector organizations. Practically, increasing productivity needs to be done by strengthening Work Attitude, developing Skills according to job demands, and optimizing Work Efficiency.
