The Influence of Capital Structure Policy and Asset Efficiency on Profitability Performance at PT Mayora Indah Tbk for the 2011-2025 Period

Abstract

This research is motivated by fluctuations in the profitability performance of PT Mayora Indah Tbk as well as changes in capital structure and asset efficiency during the 2011-2025 period. This study aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Net Profit Margin (NPM), both partially and simultaneously. The study uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The population and sample are the annual financial statements of PT Mayora Indah Tbk for the 2011-2025 period, with 15 observations. Secondary data were collected through documentation and literature studies, then analyzed using SPSS 25 through descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, correlation, coefficient of determination, as well as t-test and F-test. The results of the study indicate that DER has no significant effect on NPM, TATO has no significant effect on NPM, and DER and TATO simultaneously have no significant effect on NPM. In conclusion, capital structure and asset efficiency have not been the main determinants of PT Mayora Indah Tbk's profitability during the study period.
