TL;DR

The genome sequence of Pseudomonas gorinensis NG1 is reported, isolated from alongside the alga Nannochloropsis gaditana, and sequenced with Oxford Nanopore technology and assembled with Flye.

Abstract

ABSTRACT We report the genome sequence of Pseudomonas gorinensis NG1 isolated from alongside the alga Nannochloropsis gaditana. Bacteria capable of growing alongside algae cultured for biofuel production were isolated. The genome is 7,017,688 bp with 60.73% GC content and was sequenced with Oxford Nanopore technology and assembled with Flye.

Draft genome sequences of four bacterial isolates from the Indian Fort Nature Preserve in Geneseo, NY

ABSTRACT We report the genome sequences of four bacterial strains, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus pumilus, Pseudomonas kermanshahensis, and Kocuria rhizophila, isolated from soil or plant material from Geneseo, NY. Bacterial strains were selected based on preliminary, qualitative screening for antimicrobial production via...

Complete genome sequence of Rhodococcus qingshengii strain A3-8

ABSTRACT A chemostat culture was constructed with phenol and forest soil as an inoculum. We report the complete genome sequence of Rhodococcus qingshengii strain A3-8, which was isolated from the culture. The genome consists of a chromosome (6,436,695 bp) and a linear plasmid pA38 (257,365 bp).

Genome sequence and assembly of endophyte Pseudomonas lini Can06R isolated from the roots of Chenopodium album L.

ABSTRACT The genome of endophyte Pseudomonas lini strain Can06R isolated from surface-sterilized roots of Chenopodium album L. was sequenced using an Illumina NextSeq 1000 platform and assembled with SPAdes. The assembly is 6,302,676 bp in length, has a GC content of 58.8%, and contains 5,730 predicted genes.

Draft genome sequence of the agarolytic bacterium Cellvibrio sp. 25HG11W-0

ABSTRACT Cellvibrio sp. strain 25HG11W-0 is a freshwater agarolytic bacterium isolated from the Namyangcheon stream in the Republic of Korea. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of this bacterium, which harbors multiple putative agarase genes belonging to glycoside hydrolase (GH) families GH16, GH50, GH86, and GH...

Genome sequencing and annotation of two rhizobacteria with antifungal activity: Pseudomonas tolaasii strain A46 and Pseudomonas palleroriana P61

ABSTRACT Here, we report the draft genome sequences of P. tolaasii A46 and P. palleroriana P61, two rhizobacteria previously shown to inhibit Rhizoctonia solani. These genomic resources will support future efforts to elucidate the molecular basis of fungal suppression and to assess the biocontrol potential of these Pse...
