Abstract
A look at the Packets Design System, an open sourced UI library developed by the UI team at Energy Science Networks (ESNet), and how it was used to build the beginnings of a single source of truth for a large amount of datasets across the organization. Using reusable and well documented components, creating a predictable and intuitive pattern for viewing/editing data is easy and uniform no matter what records you are working with or looking for.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
