Fidel Castro
Abstract
This article examines Fidel Castro’s revolutionary thought and practice as a contribution to the critique of political economy and socialist transformation. Through the dialectical relationship between politics and economics, it addresses the overcoming of alienation, social ownership, and self-emancipation as foundations for transcending the capital system. By critically recovering Fidel’s legacy, it approaches revolutionary memory not as a celebration of the past, but as a guide for action in confronting contemporary contradictions. It thus connects memory, praxis, and social transformation to the ongoing construction of emancipatory alternatives to capital.
