Caracterização do processo de orçamentação, planejamento e controle em construtoras na Região Metropolitana de Florianópolis
Abstract
Despite the growing availability of digital planning and control tools, the Brazilian construction industry continues to face persistent challenges regarding productivity, schedule management, and the integration between construction sites and corporate offices. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the budgeting, planning, and control tools adopted by construction companies in the Metropolitan Region of Florianópolis and the schedule performance of ongoing projects. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach, combining a literature review with structured data collection from 12 construction firms, utilizing a questionnaire. The results reveal that most projects experience delays, even among those utilizing integrated software platforms such as Sienge and BIM, demonstrating that mere technology adoption does not guarantee satisfactory performance. The study’s contribution lies in identifying that managerial maturity and team integration are more decisive factors than the complexity of the tools employed, providing insights for strategic management in expanding regional markets.
