A High-Precision 3-D Reconstruction Method Based on ISAR Multiscatterer Joint Constraints
Abstract
Traditional interferometric inverse synthetic aperture radar (InISAR) imaging suffers from the limited precision of interferometric phase estimation. To address this issue, a high-precision 3-D reconstruction method based on Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) multiscatterer joint constraints is proposed in this letter. By exploiting the high-precision relative azimuth structural information among scatterers in ISAR images, geometric constraints between the ISAR structure and 3-D spatial coordinates are established. Then, a global parameter estimation model under multiscatterer joint constraints is constructed, which transforms the conventional independent scatterer-wise coordinate estimation problem into a joint estimation problem of the effective rotational velocity vector and scaling factor. As a result, the proposed method achieves collaborative constraint and unified reconstruction of multiple scatterers, thereby improving the 3-D reconstruction precision without increasing system complexity or observation time. Experimental results based on both simulated and measured data verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
