Abstract

This study examines learning and instructional paradigms from a theoretical and psychological perspective. The aim of the study is to understand how classical and modern learning theories can be integrated with students' psychological aspects, resulting in a more comprehensive learning paradigm. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing various academic literature related to learning theories (behaviorism, cognitivism, humanism, and constructivism). The results show that each theory has a significant contribution to educational practice, but also has limitations when applied partially. Behaviorism emphasizes behavioral reinforcement, cognitivism emphasizes internal mental processes, humanism emphasizes personal needs, while constructivism emphasizes the active involvement of students in constructing knowledge. In addition, psychological factors such as intelligence, attention, interest, talent, motivation, attitude, and readiness have been shown to significantly influence learning effectiveness. The integration of learning theories and psychological understanding allows for the creation of a learning paradigm that is more adaptive, humanistic, and relevant to the demands of the digital era. Thus, this study confirms that learning success is determined not only by theoretical foundations, but also by the psychological condition of students and the educator's strategy in creating a conducive learning atmosphere.
