Abstract
The article is devoted to studying the pedagogical potential of polycultural education in forming the All-Russian civic identity of students under conditions of ethnic diversity. The relevance of the topic is driven by the need to overcome the risks of cultural isolation and harmonize interethnic relations in modern schools. The purpose of the study is to identify and substantiate the pedagogical conditions and practical mechanisms that ensure a sustainable synthesis of ethnocultural identity and civic patriotism. The methodological framework comprises systemic-activity, axiological, and culturological approaches, alongside methods of literature analysis and synthesis of pedagogical practice. Based on the conducted research, three key results are formulated. First, the educational role of the value of "Tradition" is revealed as a spiritual foundation and connecting link between the student's local ethnocultural experience and All-Russian civic benchmarks. Second, the stages of implementing the dialogue of cultures along the step-by-step "region – Russia – world" trajectory are described, highlighting effective implementation methods (comparative analysis, interactive projects, dialogue-debates) with emphasis on bilingual and polylingual education resources. Third, key professional deficits of teachers (methodological, communicative-mediative, value-motivational) are systematized, and priority directions for overcoming them are identified through targeted professional development modules, reflective trainings, and internship sites. The conclusion emphasizes that ethnocultural diversity, with proper organization of the educational process, acts as a resource for strengthening state unity.
The designation of 2026 as the Year of National Unity brings to the fore the task of rethinking pedagogical strategies within the context of cultural diversity and new geopolitical realities. The purpose of this article is to conduct a historical-pedagogical analysis of the evolution of ideas relevant to the modern par...
