Abstract

Against the background of China's national cultural digitization strategy and the continuing revitalization of industrial heritage, digital heritage communication still faces a separation between value identification and media design, homogenized interaction, insufficient multisensory coordination, and weak evaluation mechanisms. Taking Jingdezhen's ceramic industrial heritage as the main example, this study examines the connotations and characteristics of digital interactive art intervention through interactive narrative and design-driven research. It proposes a closed-loop pathway comprising cultural value identification, interactive design construction, immersive experience generation, and communication-effect evaluation. The study argues that heritage value structures should be built from multiple sources of evidence and public cognition; interactive narratives should integrate space, installation, and user; and culturally directed immersion should coordinate visual, auditory, tactile, and bodily cues. Behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and communication indicators should guide iterative design, while cross-sector collaboration and modular technologies should support long-term operation. This pathway reduces the risk that technological spectacle obscures cultural meaning and provides a transferable framework for the digital revitalization of ceramic, mining, textile, railway, and other forms of industrial heritage.
