Improving the Safety and Reliability of Power Supply Systems for Railway Telecommunication Equipment Through Data Protection
Abstract
This paper addresses the critical issue of enhancing the reliability and security of power supply systems for railway communication infrastructure. An innovative architecture for an integrated monitoring and control system operating on the “Zero Trust” (ZTA) paradigm is proposed. An end-to-end four-level control algorithm is described, ensuring guaranteed data protection at the stages of command generation, processing, verification, and execution using electronic digital signatures. The implementation of the proposed solutions completely eliminates the risks of unauthorized external interference, specifically mitigating Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) and Replay attacks, while significantly reducing infrastructure failure rates and automating the analytical workflows of the power dispatcher.
