Abstract
This entry presents Cyclohexyl methacrylate (C10H16O2; CAS 101-43-9; PubChem CID 7561) as a 3D-printable ball-and-stick model in which every atom carries its engraved element symbol (C, H, O), so the model can be read without a colour key. Atomic coordinates come from the PubChem-computed 3D conformer (not an experimental crystal structure); coordinates and connectivity are unchanged. Structure at a glance 28 atoms: 10 C, 16 H, 2 O 28 bonds: 26 single, 2 double One 6-membered ring Functional groups: one ester group (-COO-) and one carbon-carbon double bond (C=C) No hydrogen-bond donors and two acceptors (computed) Fraction of sp3-hybridised (tetrahedral) carbon atoms: 0.7 (computed) Use in teaching Counting task: students tally the engraved symbols (10 C, 16 H, 2 O; 28 atoms) and rebuild the formula C10H16O2 from the model alone. Functional groups: find the ester group (-COO-) and the carbon-carbon double bond (C=C) on the model and name each one. File and printing STL mesh of 325,874 triangles, a closed (watertight) single solid. Coordinates are in ångström and STL stores no unit, so scale the model deliberately in your slicer. Measured bounding box: 7.353 × 6.48 × 5.123 Å; at scale factor 10 (1 Å to 10 mm, file read in millimetres) the print measures about 73.5 × 64.8 × 51.2 mm. SHA-256: bffe4f374200517481e2dc6922bc30fa3e0f02e573c7a3d88ff4b31685ad56d3. Validation InChIKey identical to the PubChem record (PubChem FTP SDF, file dated 2026-10-08): OIWOHHBRDFKZNC-UHFFFAOYSA-N Molecular formula and hydrogen-bond donor/acceptor counts identical to PubChem Mesh: triangle count in the header equals the actual count; 0 edges not shared by exactly two triangles; 1 connected solid; SHA-256 equal to the published file Source, licence and identifiers Full record: molgod.org/molecule/101-43-9 · Licence and provenance record: molgod.org/licenses/stl/101-43-9 · Same file on Wikimedia Commons: File:Cyclohexyl methacrylate-3D-molecular-model-engraved-CAS-101-43-9.stl MolGod ID: MG_920-393-271-72 Wikidata: Q27262518 EC number: 202-943-5 ChemSpider ID: 7280 IUPAC name: cyclohexyl 2-methylprop-2-enoate InChIKey: OIWOHHBRDFKZNC-UHFFFAOYSA-N SMILES: CC(=C)C(=O)OC1CCCCC1 Molar mass 168.23 g/mol (exact mass 168.115029749) Licence: CC BY-SA 4.0 (licence text). This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The perception of the impact of agile methods is predominantly positive, and several challenge areas were discovered, but based on this study, agile methods are here to stay.

For decades, a fundamental question about the difficulty of computing in high-dimensional spaces has resisted proof. New research resolves this question, removing a major theoretical obstacle to understanding the efficiency of randomized algorithms used across science and computing. The Kannan–Lovász–Simonovits (KLS) conjecture was proposed in 1995. It asks whether, for a broad class of high-dimensional […] The post Solving a 31-year-old grand challenge in mathematics – the KLS conjecture appear…
