Implementasi Program Makan Bergizi Gratis dan Implikasinya terhadap Peran Guru serta Kemandirian Anak Usia Dini
Abstract
The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program is a national policy designed to improve children's nutritional well-being while supporting educational development. This study aims to analyze the program's impact on teacher performance and young children's independence at TKIT Dhiya'ul Bahri, Seruni Mumbul Village. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving the principal, teachers, and children in Groups A and B. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña framework. The findings reveal a dual impact. Teachers assume additional responsibilities in meal distribution and nutrition education, requiring adaptive classroom time management. Meanwhile, the program strengthens children's independence through routines such as handwashing, preparing eating utensils, taking appropriate portions, praying before meals, and cleaning up after eating. These practices also contribute to children's health, concentration, discipline, and character development.
