In search of the optimal model of educational relationship

Abstract

Introduction: The relationship between a teacher and a pupil plays a fundamental role in the optimal education of young people. Therefore, the educational process and its effectiveness depend on how this relationship is understood and structured. Research Aim: The main problem this paper addresses is contained in the following question: Which model of the educational relationship in the school setting can/should be considered optimal? Evidence-based Facts: The structure of pedagogical knowledge encompasses descriptive, normative, and applicative areas. This article demonstrates the importance of individual areas of knowledge in the context of the optimal model of the educational relationship. Summary: The adoption and justification of a theoretical model of the educational relationship leads to the identification of applicative solutions in the field of education.
