Scoped Model Support and Counterevidence Across Five Memory Cycles in ESS-MAI

Oct 2026 · Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)

Abstract

This research preprint describes the POC009 scoped positive/negative model-memory experiment from ESS-MAI and AIGovern-Cyber. Bledar Gjata is an independent researcher in Albania. It explains retained source, new storage adapter, ERA/KiE computation, FFI boundaries, five process restarts, exact identity/deduplication, red-to-green regressions and measured limits. POC009 is a self-contained Apache-2.0 Rust research capsule derived from selected AIGovern-Cyber / ESS-MAI source and published POC008. It records scoped model support and counterevidence across five restarted dialogue cycles, with exact input bytes, SHA-256 candidate identities, context/origin references, source PD checkpoints and one-use FFI primitives. Missing inputs and unresolved equality are separate from counterevidence. Local Windows GNU results: 50 root tests and 19 science tests pass; zero failed or ignored; locked offline release build passes. Five-cycle demo: 93 checks. Actual C ABI: 17 checks. Final memory contains one supported and one countered proposition, each recalled twice. They are distinct claims in one context, not independent observations. The model is pinned sofars/IAU2000 era00; third-party notices are retained. Limits: typed model inputs, not arbitrary language understanding; native Shadow knowledge_verdict=null. Original C exports remain no-write compatibility HOLD; successful dialogue ingress uses a new Rust callback over the extracted gate. Process-local handles, whole-WAL replay, finite checkpoint bounds and acceptance of valid old histories remain limits. No security certification or physical-applicability claim. AI-assisted engineering is disclosed; Bledar Gjata directs architecture and reports shell-based review. The impact of agile practices on communication in software development

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
