Miasto opowiedziane. Literacka i językowa kreacja Wilna w zbiorze reportaży Mariusza Gadomskiego „Kryminalne Wilno”
Abstract
This article is devoted to the linguistic and literary image of Vilnius, as depicted in Mariusz Gadomski's collection of literary reportages, Kryminalne Wilno (Criminal Vilnius). The author presents the city as a space where tragic events take place, illustrating the biographies of victims and perpetrators and describing the reactions of bystanders. Vilnius is created from the perspective of three categories: places, people, and events. The story of dangerous Vilnius intertwines factual, literary, and artistic elements, allowing the reader, on the one hand, to deepen their knowledge of the city and, on the other, to distance themselves from the events described.
