Strategi Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Pengelola Desa Wisata Bantaragung Majalengka melalui Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Digital
Abstract
Tourism village competitiveness increasingly depends on the ability of local managers to integrate destination potential with digital communication. Bantaragung Tourism Village in Majalengka faces a competency gap in social-media management, creative content production, audience targeting, content scheduling, and performance evaluation. This community service program aimed to strengthen the human resource capacity of tourism village managers through integrated digital training and workplace-based mentoring. The program used a Participatory Action Research approach consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. It was implemented on 8–9 May 2026 at Bantaragung Village Hall and involved tourism managers, tourism-awareness groups, micro and small business actors, and village youth. Activities included needs identification, smartphone photography and videography, short-video editing, Instagram Reels and TikTok production, copywriting, digital storytelling, hashtag strategy, content calendars, branding, and the use of social-media insights. Qualitative evaluation through observation, content review, monitoring, and participatory reflection showed that participants were better able to produce communicative content, apply storytelling, organize publication schedules, and understand the importance of consistent destination branding. The mentoring process also encouraged more active youth involvement in digital promotion. The program indicates that training combined with mentoring can support continuous digital competency development and greater managerial independence in tourism-village promotion.
