Perancangan Promosi Dan Edukasi Kesehatan Masyarakat Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus : Puskesmas Stabat Lama)

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based system for public health promotion and education at Puskesmas Stabat Lama. The problem faced by the health center is the limited media for delivering health information, the lack of information outreach to the wider community, and the difficulty for the public to access health promotion and education materials. As a result, public awareness of the importance of healthy living behavior has not been fully optimized. The system is developed as a web-based application to facilitate the delivery of health information, educational articles, health campaigns, and public interaction in an integrated manner. The application is built using HTML and PHP programming languages with MySQL as the database to manage information content, user data, and interaction activities between health officers and the community. The system has two types of users, namely admin and public users. Admins or health officers can add, edit, and delete health information, while the public can read articles, access health campaigns, and provide responses to the information presented. The results show that the developed web-based system can improve the effectiveness of health information dissemination, expand the reach of public health education, and support the community in obtaining health information more easily and quickly. Therefore, the implementation of a web-based public health promotion and education system can help Puskesmas Stabat Lama improve health communication services and encourage public awareness in maintaining and improving health independently.
