La Arquitectura Comunicativa del Antifeminismo en la Manosfera Española: Análisis del Caso Red Pill Podcast
Abstract
The Spanish manosphere constitutes a digital ecosystem in which antifeminist discourses circulate and reconfigure hegemonic masculinity through a reactive framework. This article applies content analysis to 566 video titles published between 2020 and 2025 on Red Pill podcast, a YouTube channel with more than 481,000 subscribers by September 2025, and over 250 million cumulative views. The study identifies eight thematic clusters and three discursive strategies: the neoliberalization of intimacy through sexual market metaphors; the moral delegitimization of feminism as a civilizational threat; and the construction of a reactive community shaped by shared grievance. The most viewed episodes correspond to polarizing content that employs rhetorics of confrontation. The findings, complemented by a discussion grounded in Feminist Critical Discourse Analysis, show that the podcast’s effectiveness lies in a communicative architecture that monetizes male indignation by transforming gender conflict into a profitable cultural product within the algorithmic economy of digital platforms.
