Pendampingan Pengelolaan Keuangan Masjid di Desa Tambangan Kelekar
Abstract
Financial management at the mosque in Tambangan Kelekar Village still relies on manual record-keeping, which is prone to errors and lacks transparency, thereby hindering the optimal use of infaq funds for the community’s welfare. Students from the UIN Raden Fatah Palembang Community Service Program (KKN) provided intensive support to mosque administrators to implement a simple digital-based accounting system. This study is a qualitative descriptive study and aims to explain the training process, administrators’ responses, and changes in financial management practices. Through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of financial documents before and after the intervention, significant improvements were found in recording accuracy (95%), understanding of nonprofit accounting (80% of participants), and congregants’ trust in the transparency of monthly reports. The active involvement of management and the use of Excel templates demonstrate the success of the KKN mentoring model based on action researc. The results of this study have implications for the implementation of similar programs in 150 rural mosques in South Sumatra, the strengthening of the KKN curriculum with a focus on Islamic accounting, and a contribution to community financial literacy in line with the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision
