Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Lulusan di Man 1 Lebong
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the leadership of madrasah principals in improving the quality of graduates at MAN 1 Lebong through the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring and evaluation. The research method used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Informants were selected purposively, while data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. Data validity was checked through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results indicate that quality improvement program planning is carried out through work meetings and madrasah self-evaluations by establishing academic programs and developing religious character. Organization is carried out through the division of tasks between educators and education personnel, optimization of facilities and infrastructure, and utilization of digital communication with parents. Program implementation is realized through adaptive learning, academic guidance, religious habits, motivation, and development of students' non-academic potential. Meanwhile, supervision and evaluation are carried out through monitoring learning outcomes, teaching journals, and the implementation of religious activities as a basis for program improvement. The study's conclusions indicate that the leadership of madrasah principals, through the implementation of directed and participatory management functions, supports efforts to improve graduate quality by integrating academic competency, religious character development, and sustainable resource management.
