Abstract

Through the taxonomic study of the specimens of Crambidae collected from various regions of Xizang, five newly recorded species in Xizang were found, namely Diaphania crithesalis (Walker, 1859), Glyphodes stolalis Guenée, 1854, Glyphodes chilka Moore, 1888, Neoanalthes guangxiensis Du & Li, 2008, and Prooedema inscisalis (Walker, 1865). The paper described the morphological characteristics of these five adult insects and their external genitalia in detail, provided clear color pictures of the adult insects and their external genitalia, and sorted out the distribution at home and abroad. All the research specimens were kept in the Ecological Research Institute of Xizang Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University.
