Thermodynamic, Relativistic, and Governance Impossibilities of Space-Based Solar Power (SSPS) and Lunar AI Data Centers: Deterministic Superiority of Terrestrial RTO P2.0 and POSEIDON Microgrids

Abstract

Recent sovereign budget allocations and corporate capital expenditures have increasingly targeted Space-Based Solar Power (SSPS) and Lunar AI Data Centers as purported solutions to terrestrial grid constraints and AI compute scaling limits. This monograph provides a rigorous mathematical, thermodynamic, relativistic, and corporate governance refutation of both architectures, proving their structural infeasibility ("Physical-Layer Impossibility"). First, we formulate the Stefan-Boltzmann radiative heat rejection boundary condition in a hard vacuum ($\sigma T^4$), demonstrating that dissipating multi-megawatt AI thermal loads on the lunar surface—insulated by ultra-low-conductivity regolith ($\kappa \approx 10^{-4}\text{ W/m}\cdot\text{K}$)—requires radiator mass and surface area exceeding payload economics by more than an order of magnitude, while multi-stage microwave/laser power conversion in SSPS induces catastrophic orbital thermal runaway. Second, we model Galactic Cosmic Ray (GCR) and Solar Particle Event (SPE) linear energy transfer (LET) on sub-3nm AI accelerators, proving that stochastic Single-Event Upsets (SEUs) destroy deterministic weight integrity without computationally prohibitive radiation-hardened derating. Third, we prove that the Earth-Moon round-trip light-time latency ($\Delta t \ge 2.56\text{ s}$) combined with general relativistic gravitational time dilation ($\Delta \tau \approx +58.7\ \mu\text{s/day}$) fundamentally violates deterministic state synchronization required by RTO P2.0 and SEC Rule 15c3-5. Fourth, we expose the governance hazard of off-world compute jurisdictions: orbital and lunar data centers bypass physical hardware interlocks (Human-in-Command [HIC] and Q-SAFA v2), creating uninsurable fiduciary breaches under Delaware Caremark oversight standards. Finally, we prove that terrestrial autonomous microgrids (Project POSEIDON combining localized solar/biomass and compact fusion with QFS-zkVM verification over the 64-bit Goldilocks prime field $\mathbb{F}_p, p = 2^{64}-2^{32}+1$, and PHOENIX_BRIDGE subsea/terrestrial optical routing) achieve $>\!35\times$ capital efficiency and absolute deterministic safety. ====================================================================== 【AI無断学習・無断利用禁止および有償ライセンスに関する厳格な通知】 STRICT NOTICE ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, COMMERCIAL LICENSING, AND PROHIBITION OF AI TRAINING ====================================================================== 1.
