The intense flux of high-energy muons produced in the far-forward region of $pp$ collisions at the LHC provides a unique opportunity to study rare electromagnetic interactions at TeV energies. In this work, we investigate the muon trident scattering in muon-nucleus interactions at the FASER experiment, which is expected to have recorded more than $10^5$ such events. The theoretical description of the process is reviewed and improved. Predictions for the total event rates and differential distributions expected during Run~3 of the LHC are presented, taking into account realistic detector acceptance and the main background contributions. The dependence of the predictions on the treatment of the nuclear form factors and the impact of higher-order QED effects such as Coulomb corrections are investigated. Our results indicate that the muon trident process can be measured for the first time at TeV energies using FASER's spectrometer, with a projected precision on the cross-section at the percent level. We also extended our analysis to the NA64$\mu$ experiment and showed that, together with FASER, these experiments can probe the energy dependence of the muon trident cross-section over a broad unexplored energy range.
We present the calculation for the open charm production in ultraperipheral collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. Predictions for $D^0$ photoproduction using the Generalized-Photon-Nucleus FONLL formalism are presented, extending previously developed framework for electron-proton and electron-nucleus collisions. Th...

The muon anomalous magnetic moment, $a_\mu = (g-2)_\mu/2$, shows a sizeable discrepancy between Standard Model (SM) predictions and direct measurements, hinting at either New Physics or limitations in modeling low-energy strong interactions. As the uncertainty in the SM predictions currently exceeds the experimental un...
We report on our study of inclusive neutral-kaon photoproduction on the deuteron, $d(\gamma,K^0)YN$, for photon energies between 0.9 and 1.1 GeV. The calculation is performed in the impulse approximation, with the deuteron wave function generated from the Bonn One-Boson-Exchange-Potential in $q$-space (OBEPQ) within a...
In this contribution we predict the possibility of detecting signatures of the long-sought saturation in ultraperipheral heavy-ion collisions at currently accessible energies of the LHC. To probe these effects, we study incoherent vector meson production, which is sensitive to fluctuations in the partonic structure of...

Neutrinos and muons produced in the forward direction of LHC collisions and detected by the FASER and SND@LHC experiments enable a comprehensive deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) programme, covering both neutral and charged currents, at TeV energies. This programme aims to provide stringent constraints on proton and nucl...
