Abstract

Abstract Medial meniscus posterior root tears disrupt the circumferential load‐transmission function of the meniscus and negatively affect knee biomechanics. This technical note describes a reliable and reproducible arthroscopic repair technique using 2 lasso‐loop sutures and 1 Samsung Medical Center sliding knot through a single transtibial tunnel, secured with a tibial cortical button, emphasizing controlled anatomic reduction and balanced tensioning at the meniscus‐suture interface. This method provides strong tissue capture and secure tibial fixation while allowing controlled footprint restoration and minimizing suture loosening or cut‐through, thereby enabling anatomic reduction of the meniscal root.
