The modern context of Azerbaijani language research: analyses and perspectives

Abstract

The article reviews the modern context of the study of the Azerbaijani language: analyses and perspectives. Here, the modern context of the study of the Azerbaijani language is interpreted in terms of the application of new scientific approaches. In modern times, the study of the structural, semantic, functional and pragmatic features of the Azerbaijani language is carried out on the basis of innovative directions such as corpus linguistics, computer linguistics and discourse analysis, along with traditional linguistic methods. These approaches allow us to more fully determine the dynamics of the development of the language, its functional capabilities in the communication process and its interaction with the socio-cultural changes of society. The main goal of the study is to summarize the directions of modern scientific research of the Azerbaijani language, current problems and prospective development trends. The article systematizes the issues of the formation of the Azerbaijani language, brings to the fore the ideas of individual researchers, and emphasizes the importance of the work done to create and expand language resources. As a result, it is determined that the study of the Azerbaijani language in a modern context is of great practical importance not only from the point of view of theoretical linguistics, but also for the fields of education, information technologies, media and public administration. Complex and multidisciplinary research conducted in this direction serves to reveal the rich scientific potential of the language, to make it more widely known in the international scientific environment and to reliably preserve and develop it for future generations.
