Abstract

The purpose of the study is to define the central idea of N. A. Berdyaev’s metaphysics by identifying the ontological status of the free creative person. The article examines four approaches to studying N. A. Berdyaev’s intellectual legacy. A comparative analysis of these approaches identifies the one that most fully corresponds to the Russian philosopher’s original intent and makes it possible to integrate his philosophical work into a unified conceptual framework. The scientific novelty of the study lies in proposing the ontological status of the free creative person as a concept that makes it possible to structure N. A. Berdyaev’s creative legacy most comprehensively. The study establishes that the concept of the free creative person, considered as a component of N. A. Berdyaev’s metaphysical constructions, contributes to structuring his philosophical legacy and integrating this concept into the system of all-unity, central to Russian religious metaphysics.
