We prove the Quadratic Easy Coefficients Conjecture stated as Conjecture 1 in T. W. Cusick, \emph{Recursions for quadratic rotation symmetric functions weights}, Discrete Applied Mathematics 378 (2026), 93--101. For an arbitrary finite sum of quadratic monomial rotation symmetric Boolean functions, we identify the recurrent part of the rules matrix with a signed binary de Bruijn transfer matrix $B$. We then give a one-step presentation of the finite-type shift associated with the Boolean function in the symbolic-dynamics construction of Chirvasitu and Cusick. Fourier transformation in an auxiliary $\F_2$ coordinate decomposes the adjacency matrix of this shift into an unsigned de Bruijn block and the signed block $B$. Consequently the dynamical zeta function is \[ \zeta_{X_f}(z)=\frac{1}{\det(I-z\cR(f))}, \] where $\cR(f)$ is the rules matrix. This equality identifies, with their algebraic multiplicities, the characteristic values, supplied by symbolic dynamics, with the roots of the characteristic polynomial of the rules matrix. The desired easy coefficients formula follows from the trace of $B^n$. We also prove nonsingularity and justify the unique backward extension of the weight recurrence.
Let $f_m(x_0,\ldots,x_{2m-2}) =\det(x_{i+j})_{0\leq i,j\leq m-1}$ be the determinant of the generic symmetric Hankel matrix of size $m$. We determine its global Bernstein--Sato polynomial. The proof combines the nearby cycles of the corresponding secant hypersurface with an explicit Archimedean zeta integral over the c...
Let $m\geq 2$ and $d\geq 7$. We consider homogeneous polynomials in $2m+2$ variables of the form $f=F_0(u_0,v_0)+\cdots+F_m(u_m,v_m)$, where the $F_i$ are independently very general squarefree binary forms of degree $d$. We prove the rational noncommutative Hodge conjecture for the dg category $\mathrm{MF}^{\mathrm{gr}...
Shift-invariant permutations of $\mathbb F_2^n$ are attractive in symmetric cryptography because of their regularity and implementation efficiency. Constructing such permutations with an explicit algebraic structure remains a challenging problem. In this paper, we study a family of shift-invariant transformations of $\...

We realize the $\mathrm{SU}(3)$ Verlinde sums $V_n(m)$, up to an explicit factor, as the values at $n$ of the spectral zeta function of a higher-order Laplace operator on the triangular discrete torus on $m^2$ vertices. For fixed $m$, we express their generating function in terms of the logarithmic derivative of an ass...

We conjecture an explicit evaluation of the pure fifth Bessel moment $\int_0^\infty K_0(t)^5\,dt$ as a quadratic expression in the critical value $L(f,2)$ of the weight-three, level-60 newform $f$ (LMFDB orbit 60.3.b.a) identified in the twisted fifth-moment modularity theorem of Lim, Tu and Yu, with coefficients in $\...
We construct an explicit Hermitian polynomial in six selfadjoint variables, $f=-1+\omega+\omega^*+M\sum_{j=1}^{15}(2-u_j-u_j^*)$, with integer coefficients, degree $72$, and exactly $33$ monomials. Here $\omega,u_1,\ldots,u_{15}$ are specified words, $*$ reverses words, and $M$ is a specified positive integer. Its norm...
