The combined findings of biochemical and molecular suggests that B. bassiana NBAIR-Bb5a is regarded as a highly effective and eco-friendly biocontrol agent for the integrated pest management in cabbage under the evaluated experimental conditions.
Evaluated B. bassiana–insecticide combinations showed measurable compatibility and high bioefficacy against P. xylostella larvae and significant differences were observed among fungal isolates, insecticides, and their interactions for all compatibility parameters.

Environmental issues associated with the excessive use of chemical substances have received increasing attention globally, particularly regarding their effects on non-target/beneficial insects such as pollinators. To overcome such drawbacks, alternative control methods are being increasingly evaluated. A study was cond...

Pine wilt disease, caused by Bursaphelenchus xylophilus and vectored by Monochamus alternatus, is a devastating forest disease. The parasitoid Sclerodermus guani and entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana are effective biocontrol agents against wood-boring pests, but their compatibility remains poorly understood. W...

Chilli pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) is a valuable horticultural crop whose productivity is significantly hindered by aphid infestations, particularly Aphis gossypii (Homoptera: Aphididae). This pest inflicts direct damage through sap extraction and indirectly diminishes yield by transmitting deleterious viruses, such as...
