Abstract
Quantum secret sharing (QSS) stands as one of the most promising components of quantum cryptography. Device-independent quantum secret sharing (DI-QSS) provides enhanced security by eliminating the need for device trust, yet its practical performance remains constrained by channel loss and noise. To overcome this limitation, this work innovatively integrates tripartite advantage distillation (AD) with an advanced random key generation basis strategy. This approach effectively improves the protocol’ s noise tolerance, reduces the global detection effciency threshold, and significantly extends the maximum secure communication distance. Numerical simulations demonstrate that, under ideal noisy channel conditions, the protocol’ s maximum secure distance increases from 0.82 km to 4.13 km, its global detection effciency threshold decreases from 93.42% to 80.23%, and the noise tolerance rises from 9.23% to 24.18%. This scheme significantly enhances the robustness of the protocol.
Secure communication is a critical requirement in modern digital systems, especially with the growing computational capabilities that threaten traditional cryptographic techniques. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) offers a promising solution by enabling secure key exchange based on the principles of quantum mechanics. Th...

Quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) enables the direct transmission of confidential messages without pre-establishing a secret key. Device independence (DI) can further enhance its practical security against untrusted devices. However, existing DI-QSDC protocols rely on a single Clauser–Horne–Shimony–Holt inequa...
Experimental results show that the scheme maintains high key entropy characteristics across different noise environments, achieves a key generation rate that meets real-time communication requirements, and exhibits better resistance to known-plaintext attacks compared to traditional fixed-parameter chaotic encryption s...

This work presents the first FPGA-based implementation of a modular hashing-based PA scheme, thereby breaking the dependence of modular hashing schemes on general software platforms.
Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) represents a revolutionary advancement in secure communication. It leverages principles of quantum mechanics to establish cryptographic keys between parties with theoretically unbreakable security. Among the various QKD protocols, BB84 (Bennett and Brassard, 1984) and Twin-Field QKD are p...

This paper analyzes the four-state QPKE scheme of Liu et al. and shows that its ciphertext structure leaks information about computational-basis plaintexts, and proposes sQPKE, a simple quantum public-key encryption scheme that uses only elementary operations.
