TL;DR

RadTechBERT with BPE_32K outperformed baselines in many subjects, with more than a twofold improvement in radiation safety management and radiation measurement relative to the strongest baseline, while gains were smaller in subjects having substantial overlap with general medicine, and Wikipedia mixing did not yield consistent improvements.

Language Specificity vs. Domain Diversity: Benchmarking Transformers for Bangla Medical NER

It is demonstrated that prompt-only pipelines remain inadequate for structured clinical entity extraction in low-resource language environments, and fine-tuned transformer models outperform the optimal prompting configuration by a factor of 3.76, indicating that pretraining domain diversity can outweigh language specif...

An Automated, Contamination-Controlled VQA Benchmark for Evaluating Vision-Language Models on 3D Oncology Imaging

Vision-language models (VLMs) are increasingly applied to medical imaging, yet public benchmarks may reward memorization over perception: their images and questions can enter pretraining corpora, and many items remain answerable from question text alone. We present an automated, agent-driven pipeline that builds multip...
