A significant and increasing burden of dengue infection in the Kathmandu Valley between 2019 and 2023 is revealed, highlighting an urgent need for immediate public health interventions to mitigate dengue's rise in Nepal's higher-altitude regions.
Urban hyperendemicity, characterized by a high case volume, coupled with the emerging coastal per‐capita risk, necessitates tailored interventions in Dhaka, while early‐warning surveillance should be implemented in coastal districts.
