To make full use of the HL-LHC, especially in the search for BSM physics, all Standard Model backgrounds have to be understood with increased precision. This is especially difficult for Double Parton Interactions (DPIs) and more generally Multi Parton Interactions (MPIs), which are very difficult to isolate precisely in experiment. DPIs are parameterized by Double Parton Distributions (DPDs) and the lattice determination of the latter is, therefore, especially attractive. In our previous work on DPDs on the lattice, we focused on the results obtained from one gauge ensemble with higher than physical pion mass. In this work, we extend our efforts by investigating artifacts introduced by finite volume and the dependence on the lattice spacing. Moreover, we consider the dependence on the mass parameters. This study is carried out by employing the Wilson-Clover fermion gauge ensembles generated by the CLS collaboration.
The electron Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) are essential components in the calculations of cross sections within a collinear-factorisation framework at lepton colliders. We compute them at the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QED by working in two different factorisation schemes, namely the standard $\ove...
We present an extraction of the unpolarised transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions (PDFs) for the valence quarks in the pion from experimental mea- surements of the Drell-Yan process. The procedure adopted in this project relies on the framework of TMD factorisation, and the inputs of nucleon...

We present the new release of nuclear parton distribution functions (nPDFs) from the nCTEQ collaboration: nCTEQ26. In this global analysis, we combine our recent, more selective studies of different experimental measurements and extend them to determine a modern set of nPDFs based on the largest selection of data consi...

Renormalisation-group evolution enters PDF determinations through the running coupling and the splitting functions. At fixed perturbative order, the solution of the evolution equations is not unique beyond the nominal accuracy, and this residual freedom can be probed through resummation-scale variations. This contribut...
In this talk, we discuss the extraction of Dihadron Fragmentation Functions (DiFFs) beyond leading order. In particular, we review the latest extraction by the MAP Collaboration of the Unpolarized Dihadron Fragmentation Functions (DiFFs) from a fit of the 2017 BELLE data for the inclusive $\pi^+\pi^-$ pair production w...

Due to its conceptual simplicity, Deeply Inelastic Scattering (DIS) often serves as a textbook example for Quantum Chromo Dynamics (QCD) and partonic structure of nucleons. However, it is this supposed simplicity, which makes DIS an ideal case for discussing many additional effects and corrections. In these lectures we...
