TL;DR
Findings characterise early postoperative dry eye and do not address long-term persistence; however, further monitoring is necessary to assess full recovery and long-term results.
FS-DSEK was associated with faster corneal clearance, earlier visual recovery, and lower postoperative absolute astigmatism in eyes whose anterior stroma was expected to regain transparency, and the findings support complementary, anatomy-based procedure selection with procedure-specific postoperative surveillance.

PURPOSE
To compare the risk of recurrent corneal erosion syndrome requiring therapeutic treatment in eyes undergoing laser in situ keratomileusis/small incision lenticle extraction (LASIK/SMILE) with preoperatively diagnosed asymptomatic epithelial basement membrane dystrophy (EBMD) versus eyes in which EBMD was only d...

PURPOSE
The aim of this study was to compare preoperative determinants of procedure selection and long-term outcomes between anterior lamellar keratoplasty (ALK) and penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) in patients with keratoconus in the United States.
METHODS
A total of 10,405 eyes from patients with keratoconus undergoi...

PurposeTo compare the outcomes of surface ablation (SA) in patients who have previously undergone Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK) and Penetrating keratoplasty (PKP).MethodsThis retrospective study evaluated the outcomes of SA in Keratoconus (KCN) patients who had previously undergone DALK or PKP and at least...
