Neuroimaging biomarkers derived from EEG and fMRI provide critical insight into the mechanisms and variability of NIBS-induced neuroplasticity, and integrating these biomarkers into a unified framework enables stratification of patients and supports the development of precision neuromodulation strategies in stroke rehabilitation.
Electroencephalography-fMRI integration represents a promising approach for advancing the understanding and management of epilepsy, but technical, analytical, and translational challenges remain, and further research is required to facilitate broader clinical adoption.

Schizophrenia (SCZ) is a complex psychiatric disorder involving disruptions in neural signaling and neurovascular function that are incompletely characterized by single-modality imaging. This systematic review evaluates how concurrent electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) can adv...

Current evidence indicates that self-regulation of disease-relevant neural signals is feasible in at least a subset of patients, but clinical effectiveness remains uncertain because of small samples, methodological heterogeneity, and limited replication.

Abstract Background Non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) has emerged as a valuable therapeutic approach in psychiatry, offering an alternative to conventional pharmacological treatments. Evidence indicates that NIBS can be highly effective in certain conditions; for instance, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulati...

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is an established neuromodulation therapy for Parkinson disease and other neurological disorders. Active DBS-functional MRI (fMRI) enables visualization of circuit engagement and may provide objective biomarkers of therapeutic efficacy, yet susceptibility artifacts...

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a noninvasive brain stimulation technique used in the treatment of several psychiatric disorders. However, its clinical efficacy remains limited in some cases, in part due to the lack of control over ongoing brain state during stimulation. Although some studies hav...
